VWA are back - and the attitude is stronger than ever. This time, we’re bringing meat to the menu, inspired by our dear friend Clodagh Houston, whose refreshing approach to wild food challenges and celebrates our relationship with the natural world.
Shaped by childhood experiences, Clodagh’s cooking style reflects weekends in her mum’s restaurant kitchen, deer stalking in the Scottish Highlands, and her gran’s iconic Sunday lunches. Those moments taught her that food isn’t just about the plate — it’s about connection, respect, and living in tune with the land.
That’s why she loves venison: wild, local, and deeply sustainable. It tells the story of our land and the people who care for it. This supper club is her way of bringing that story to the table.
As always, our dishes are guided by the seasons and built around locally sourced produce, showcasing the very best from our corner of Suffolk.
